Help me swiftly plz within this colour? i am redecorating my home, and shifting everything from floors to wall...
i am redecorating my home, and shifting everything from floors to wall colour.i bought a floor for my brothers room but i dont like it and i dont deem i change it so i own to fit with it.
its dimness green with some white lines here and in that, i have no belief what wall colour could go beside this. the room is not very big and have lots of furniture but i need to use a wall colour that would brighten the floor.
what do u suggest?
Answers: This is a bedroom, right? First, find some bedding (quilt, comforter) or curtains that go resourcefully with what you can't silver (in your case, the floor). If you can find something that includes the green from the floor, it will orchestrate.
For a wall color, pick another color from that fabric (bedding or windowpane fabric), OR, use the same green from the flooring but surrounded by a shade lighter. Go to a paint store (or Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, etc.) and pick up a load of different paint chips surrounded by various shades of the colors within the fabric. Bring them home and lay the material on the floor. Then spread out the paint chips on the fabric to see which one(s) look best next to both the fabric and flooring.
You might be surprised. If the bedding or curtains you chose contain a blue, for example, the right wall color may be a lighter shade of that same blue. Or maybe a yellow? Don't grain that you are limited by the flooring. Instead, find a yard goods element that works near the flooring, and build the room around the colors you find there. You definitely don't need to use white, off-white, or camel, just to be past the worst. Have fun with it!
