Answers:    Ok,
First things first,

REALLY reflect on over the colours you want to paint.

My room is currently bright green, and my god, did i make the wrong decison.
Sure, at the time, I was within love with bright colours, and NO ONE in the world could formulate me change my mind.
Its been approximately 4 months since it be painted and im already counting down the days until mum will let me Re-paint.

I think it would be a appropriate decison to get a 2nd opinon, or maybe a FEW opinons for that certainty,
My mum told me over and over i will get sick of those bright colours, and i refused to listen.
NOW look where on earth im at :S

They have lots of concept and photos for every room and every style.
I painted my daughter's room with each wall a different color: red, bright blue, apple green, and bright pallid. To keep it pulled together, I did a silver stripe around the middle and above the stripe I stamped silver stars randomly next to 5 different stamps, each about 2 or 3 foot apart so it didn't get overwhelming. I also made and hung stars from the ceiling. It was really cute!
Now she have all white walls with a bold hot pink stripe more or less 18 inches wide around the middle. The curtains are pink, the bedding is white, but the pillowcases are pink and she has a pink fur throw on top.
Using the different colors for your pillows and stuff is a great model. Keep the walls a little more simple so you won't get sick of them. You could paint the walls a colourless color like white or gray and then paint vertical stripes of different thicknesses on one or two walls using adjectives of the colors you want.
HGTV has lots of ideas on their website, too.
Have fun!
