Help me near my room please.? i like the dark colors but not relatively goth. more like punk....
i like the dark colors but not relatively goth. more like punk. and my room is crappy right now. i own black cast iron furniture. my nightstand thing and my shelves enjoy glass for the surface part. i am going to go back over my room and i need some ideas. my bead is a queen blind style and i have black mesh type curtains going around it. my dresser is old and wooden and i want to catch rid of it so i need some ideas for that as all right. i cant get one to match the rest of my stuff because they dont create them anymore. i have three snake cages surrounded by my room. soon to be four if the eggs hatch. i need some way to maintain them in there lacking taking up too much room. i cant paint the walls because they are a dark brown wood. i have a million clothes so i call for somewhere to put them. thanks for reading. give me a creative room makeover concept. =]
pant your walls red and black Hey lug the cast iron furniture and PAINT it , from say black to red!! Your dark stand , and dresser paint them black... Your walls you can't paint them, BUT you can put fabic up there... bye cheap fabric and staple it on the walls . Pick one wall, put the cloth on it , maybe pleating it across. Canopy bed, use accent color sheers to drape around, and a comforter to clash.
Clothes maybe buy a organizer for your closet, Home Depot great source and not that expensive.
Snakesssssssssss eeeeeeeekkkk .throw them outside. <laughs> J/k. You can buy a wooden shelf, to put them all on.

you could build (if you can) a box split into 4 spots for your snakes.like 4 boxes (kinda like a window)
Answers: Well, since you have more alternative tastes, that black iron furniture will probably conclude up being better anyway. And those shelves with the cup... that's totally going to keep things modern an edgy! So even if you hate your room right presently, you've at least got some of the components that will sustain you make it better.
If you like the black mesh curtains, keep hold of 'em.
As far as your dresser, instead of just throwing it out, why not update it? Prime it and paint it black... take a trip to a hardware store and get hold of new pieces for it (if it has hardware... you know, verbs knobs and such)
Having all black furniture will can really verbs a room down, so spice it up. You can either paint your walls stark white or grey, and paint a super bright accent wall aft your bed. (What's your favorite color? Blue? Red? Green? Purple? Bright Pink?)
Then just use little touches that incorporate that accent wall color... sheets, a comforter, a rug, little ornate touches... you get the picture.
I think this would adjectives give you a pretty wicked room powerfully still having a touch of adult class...
ps. As far as the snake cage, maybe find someone who can build you a shelving unit specifically for the cage... maybe vertical storage would help to release a little more space.

Y'know, I should really read questions better... I missed the constituent about the all wood... so sorry!
I COMPLETELY pilfer back all of that up in that. What you need to do, since the walls are so dark and you can't paint them, is really brighten things up. I'd create in your mind it looks like a cave contained by there. (But i still suggest the shelving just for the snake cage so you can store them vertically instead of horizontally.)
I'm just going to say acquire rid of the black mesh curtains around your bed. Instead, throw some color up. In fact, if you want to keep things edgy, the more bold the better. Just pick your favorite BRIGHT color and walk with it.
Sometimes the easiest way to walk about this is to go shopping for bedding. Find a comforter/bedding set you really approaching and just work the room around that. What I said earlier roughly all of the accents, that still applies!
If you can, find some cheap art. (Garage stores, target, menards/steins/garden stores, thrift shops are adjectives places to find cool cheap art) Make sure it has the colors you like contained by it... just hang that on the walls. You could even freshly frame a few posters of bands or movies you like. If you want to take home your room feel bigger, just dangle a big mirror.
You could even paint the ceiling if you really wanted to... just create sure you tape off EVERYTHING so you don't attain paint on your wood paneled walls.

See if your parents could aid you build a frame for your snake cages,take 4 -2x4's and build a stand that will hold adjectives 4 of them and then paint it deep purple.Sand your dresser next prime it then paint it deep purple next to red drawers and black hardware.You can go to Wal-mart in the yard goods department and buy in bulk usually its around $1-$2 per yard surrounded by the fabric of your choice you probly should get something within dark gray with purple and red on it,or of late really dark red or gray.Then go home and consider your walls from top to bottom and cut material to size and start in corner and staple to top of wall and verbs tight and staple to bottom.This way your not hurting the wall.You can do all or lately one wall and it will look awsome i did this for my daughters room.Also you can buy cheap under bed bin drawers to put your clothes in.also if you inevitability more space put your bed up on lifters,they sell them at wal-mart also.Good Luck and let me know how you did.
