Hi i need help out paining my exterior front door. i know you need to sand it down. but do i obligation to get a primer or a undercoat b4 i paint it.

Answers:    That depends on the door and the condition it is surrounded by. If the paint is not flaking, mossy, or in any other track damaged and you are keeping the color one and the same (or close) then you shouldn't NEED to prime it. If the color is varying or it is a metal door that has not be painted before than you do necessitate to prime it.
I always prime, a short time ago in travel case. Its worth the 30 minutes.
