I¡¯m redecorating/rearranging my room, and I had a few question.
We¡¯re putting in investigational floors, so the ugly blue mat will be replaced with a gloom hardwood floor. (This is not my room, but this is what the floors will look like: http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/2552/...
I¡¯m tired of the route my room is arranged now, and I be thinking about moving things around since it will adjectives have to be moved anyways for the floor to be put contained by.
(These are a few pictures of what my room looks like currently: http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/8086/... )
I be thinking of rearranging everything to look close to this:

(I¡¯ll eventually paint the room a really light fawn color. Also, my bed spread is very infirm, and I¡¯m trying to look for one that will go beside my theme. There be a perfect silk comforter at Target, but I don¡¯t deduce they¡¯re carrying it anymore. The windows are going to repainted, and rattan blinds will be put in. My blind doors on the closet are painted blue, but will be removed, and my dad and I were thinking in the region of putting bamboo at hand instead-like blinds or a curtain)
Please let me know what you meditate, or if you have suggestions/ideas/plans throw them out here! ^^
Answers: You have profusely of dark colors within your room. The floors are of dark wood, some of your furniture base on your photos, seem to be of a dark shade, so you desperately need to hold some lighter colors there to create a match. You mentioned that you will be painting the walls a muted beige. Why don't you paint them surrounded by a still lighter color? Paint in milder colors, resembling yellows and greens will freshen up your space. You could spruce up your room by putting in a comforter which is of a lighter color near bright florals, and bright pillows which make a design statement as in good health serve the purpose. Put up pictures that you like. Keep things to a minimum to prevent clutter. You could put your bed surrounded by the middle of your room for a change.
