Help decorate a teens bedroom? im going to decorate my room. Im 14 and i dont no...

im going to decorate my room. Im 14 and i dont no what to do i want to put up shelves but i cant think of any design and colour schemes!
ask her what her fav color is and her fav magazines or her fav music starts that he can put all over her room

First figure out if you want a soft and feminine be aware of to the room or a bold and brassy one. I like the softer feel within a bedroom because it is relaxing. If you are into pink as so many young teens are...afterwards a soft.very soft pastel pink on the walls with white trim can jump with a lot of pretty accent. If you want something bold then consider a strong yellow/mustard for the walls with burgundy and bleak green accents. It is really all something like the feeling you want the room to give you. Go beside a color that will fit you something that doesn't bring depression. You need a room that brings you enter peace (go ahead say I want enter peace) Feel that.

That is what you call for I my self went for that two years ago I made sure everything in my room matched to be precise glass for the main parts silver/mettle for frames and black/white for appliances surrounded by my bed room My walls are this nice light tanish yellow more suntan then yellow (kinda close to a cream).
-back to you-

If you don't like to match don't find a color that go with everything (Just remember make sure it brings you enter peace) If i be you look threw a few magazines fine things you like mike it up though try making it different colors something you resembling.

Just remember try something to make you have inter peace inside you. -You will never quality depressed when you are inside that room-

(edit)
Make sure you don't clutter the room try putting on a wall a big pictures (ex. Put a thing blanket that you love hanging on the wall that can be your knob design) find things to match weather its the pictures on it or just the colors that other helps makes it ten times easier it will also hand over you the feeling of safety have something that reminds you of a blanket you love.

Good luck :) You can do it just don't clutter the room (try to keep it like peas in a pod amount of objects) -Find your aloud payment- I know you will do fine good luck have fun and be out of danger!

I think you could gain alot of ideas from here play with the paint color and win inspired to try something like at Frankie
You have to start somewhere and I think the best item to do is shop for a comforter set that you really love. After you find that the rest will come together. Pick an accent color from it to paint the walls, consider decals on one accent wall, find cute lamp, art, accent pillows, and throw rugs. Don't buy everything at once. Add pieces slowly and mix and match pattern. Once you decide on a color scheme, I'll be festive to be more specific with ideas. Here's a subject matter you might like: old Hollywood
