I want to paint my living room and i have a dark convoy sofa and light beech floor and cabinets wat colour would travel best with these??
Im only 22 so i want a look explicitly modern.

try painting 3 walls a flimsy colour (a creamy colour) and your main wall a darker colour. use dulux diamond matt. for the wood work iwould suggest dulux white satinwood, it is tough wearing and dosnt shine as much as gloss.

Answers:    Go for a metallic paint if you want something really different - silver would be amazing. If you could find a wallpaper with navy, silver and a lighter colour (off-white, ivory etc) surrounded by it for one feature wall, you'd have a amazingly contemporary and original room.
