I recently go to a home and garden show and saw a product i had never see before: a tinny granite slab on top of honeycomb structure aluminum.

Now I hold a bit of a background surrounded by materials engineering, and it sounds logical to me.

I am wondering if anyone on here has first/second foot experiance owning it. has it held up so far? How long have it been contained by place? Any tips?
Answers:    My brother had his entire kitchen replaced near this and was relating me about it. I'm unbelievably much an environmentalist and found the product pretty interesting.

It is called CombCore. There is one company surrounded by the US that sells it. My brother get it as an industry insider because he will be writing about it surrounded by an upcoming magazine. However, when I mentioned this to him he was surprised because the product wasn't supposed to be available to the public on the other hand. Could ou tell me where on earth you saw it?

The countertop costs 50% of a same surface countertop

Is environmentally friendly and uses 75% less materials

Is incredibly lightweight. It took 4 guys to remove his outdated countertop. It took one guy to life the CombCore replacement

I asked him for a company website and he said it's at http://www.CombCore.com but I don't see anything in attendance... maybe because it's clean the website isn't up yet.
