Has anyone sit and watch paint dry? ...
Answers: Yes, once. I decided I looked-for to paint my office a nice shade of green. This is my department, with a door on it, contained by an office building of more or less 3,000 people. I said, "what are they going to do, fire me?".
So, I set roughly preparing to paint my office. Over the course of a week, I snuck within drop cloths, paint trays, rollers, brushes, etc. I taped everything sour a few days before fine art. Then I moved all the furniture into the center of the organization the day previously.
I chose to do the painting the Friday of Memorial sunshine weekend, knowing that the office would be mostly clean, that anyone there would be going away early, and that within would be three full days for the smell of the paint to dissipate.
Before starting to paint, I brought food in for lunch and dinner. I also changed from business blas¨¦ clothes into sweat pants and shirt.
I locked my organization door and started the first coat around noon. I finished the first coat after give or take a few 2 hours. However, since it had be years and years since the office be painted, the walls just soaked the paint right surrounded by and I realized a second coat be needed.
Since there be a risk of people still mortal in the organization (2 pm on a Friday), and I was contained by my painting clothes and I did not want the smell of the paint waft out into the hallway, I be forced to sit in my organization and eat lunch and simply wait for the paint to dry back I could start the second coat. So, yes, I did watch paint dry.
