Has anyone ever see a laundry room/bathroom combo within a underground store earlier? We have a split foyer home and own since done some remodeling...
We have a split foyer home and own since done some remodeling in the underground room. We didn't put in the bathroom at the time but presently we are thinking of doing so. Trouble is, the walls we put in for the bureau are cramping the size of the bathroom because the plumbing for the toilet and sink are between the wall and the washer and dryer. There isn't much room left but I cogitate a small powder room could be put there. My husband and my uncle suggested boxing surrounded by the laundry room and making it a combo-room and having the bathroom within that room with the washer and dryer, no wall lately all together since in that is limited space. Putting surrounded by walls would make the bathroom more cramped. So in recent times having a toilet and sink put surrounded by as if it were a bathroom but departing it open to the rest of the laundry room. Maybe putting up a "hospital" type curtain on a track to provide some privacy but that would be it.
Has anyone ever see this done before? I would reflect on it wouldn't do well for resale.
Answers: my first floor bathroom is close to that.. i have a sink, toilet and shower stall on one side of the room, my washer, dryer, and shelves on the other side. there's a couple foot across for walking room
I think that would be fine. and better for re-sale. yes the laundry room is here too but another bathroom adds to the efficacy of the house. I would make sure the bathroom appliances clash the washer and dryer so that it flows better.
