Resand the entire house. For the spots that are dark due to urine, use hydrogen peroxide to lighten the spots. Thats the simply thing I enjoy found that actually works for lightening the spots. As for the actual smell, the hot poly urithane coating will really have a powerful smell for several weeks so you shouldnt thought that smell on the floor.
