Hanging icicle lights... INDOORS? I have a set of 150 icicle lights that I love to...

I have a set of 150 icicle lights that I love to swing around my bay fanlight. It has a wood frame (I never use anything on that to punch holes or cartridge, etc) obviously chalice windows (4 of them 2 chalice on inside , the other 2 have screen so u can open for the outside, so I cant hang down nothing on the peak, but around it i can). My dilemma is I hang lights around it purely at the top... nothing seem to work to keep these lights up!! I own used 3m tabs... which don't work cuz icicle lights string is too life-size to fit on the tabs, suction cups which never stay, video which never stays.... what can I do?!?!?!?

Answers:    I have some bulky clear fish line that I strung from one drapery rod hanger to the other one. I tape the lights to the fish line. I can take off the line here year round as it doesn't show.
