We are looking at granite countertops and have have a couple people report to us that we should steer away from black or dark colored granite because hose marks and smears are more prevalent than on lighter colors. Is this true? Any other recomendations? Thanks!
Answers: We also hold Uba Tuba. Since it is so shiny, and reflective, you do indeed have to save it cleaner than, say, Corian. Many clean granite counter people are told "Invest contained by a paper towel company". It's true. However, wouldn't you fairly be able to see dirt on your counter? Of course! You should want to save it very verbs, and granite helps you by revealing areas not reasonably clean.
Nope, i own black granite counter tops at my house and it doesn't show up at all. Besides if you save it clean you shouldn't enjoy problems with watermarks. Go next to the color you like.
