Glazed tiles for floor, perfect or desperate? I was looking at the glazed tiles at Lowes, they're so nice...

I was looking at the glazed tiles at Lowes, they're so nice looking, and they've get so many colors.

I'm looking to tile my living room floor...I've read glazed isn't honourable for floors, it's more for walls and counter tops. Can anyone tell me give or take a few this? I don't have any experience near tiles, what is the "norm", the standard for floor tiles?
Answers:    For tiles, glazed means that the colors you're seeing don't run adjectives the way through the tile, not necessarily almost the finish. If you're concerned about slip-resistance, see give or take a few a tile in a "matte" finish as opposing a "polished" finish. Polished finishes can become slippery when you mop them - matte finishes are less imagined to be slippery. Otherwise, if it's tile your after, then putting it within a living room is a great idea, more than ever if you live in a hot climate.

When shopping for tiles, net sure that you specify to your seller that you intend to use it for floor tile. You are right - undisputed tiles are only intended to serve as wall tiles, particularly pitch-black colored glazed tiles. Make sure that the PEI rating on your chosen tiles are at least PEI3 or better. This is a width of how durable they will be in hint to where you'll be installing them.

Good luck next to your installation!
My son and I were on a glazed floor today within Tubby's restaurant Where the floor looked brilliant. My son remarked look how brand new that floor looks and I stood up and slid my foot across it. Ohh shiny and smooth I thought and afterwards I nearly slipped on that wet floor and busted my butt.
