i live in the basement of my house(iam 13) and i want laminate within my roo, but my dad says it mite get to cold contained by my room because we have cement under the exsising runner. do you have any ideas that i can still enjoy laminite in my basement room?

Answers: Wood flooring is never as cozy on the foot as carpet when the weather is cold. A throw rug over the laminate should take meticulousness of that issue, but if the carpet is in devout condition, it would be wasteful to rip it up on a whim. Who know what the next "in" designer element will be.
I would of late paint the cement. Then in the winter you could put down a warm rug. it would look particularly pretty, and solve the cooling problem
