Hi Everyone,

My boyfriend and I are finally in a home big plenty to host the family Christmas dinner and I am really excited!

We are on a bit of a budget - so I be looking for some ways to get the house looking festive. I own decided that our Christmas subject matter colours will be Purple, Red and Silver (or gold - I can't settle on!). So any handy hints or tips would be great!

Thanks in credit!
Aww - I'm happy for you, I can't continue for mine! Your decorations should try and enhance your original decorate rather than compete beside it. In your lounge, have a tree within a corner. Buy your baubles and suspend them not only on the ends of the branches, but also within the 'depth' of the tree to make it look fatter. Try looking on eBay for great utility Christmas decorations (it's in it's own catagory). On the banister, wrap tinsel. You really want to breed the house cosy so continue the Christmas subject matter throughout the bottom of the house. If you have a fire, feathery it on nights to really grasp the spirit going. Christmas lights look fabulous when on window sills and along the banisiter if tinsel sounds abit ott - don't confine the lights just to the tree. And don't forget the crackers contained by the tree! Good luck =)

Rather than post a quantity of suggestions, I'd advise you to set off scouting the magazine racks as nearly every home publication has your cross-examine targeted.

I would also advise that you pop in some of their websites for additional tips/tricks/hints.

Lastly jump to HGTV and DIY for instruction and ideas that will be accompany by instruction videos:

Answers:    you can get really nice indoor lights for around $5 at the $2 shops, I'm not sure where on earth abouts you live or i could be more specific *i live in Australia* even streamers around the house would look nice, and a bit of missile toe, and a reef at the door would look nice.
