Female Painters and Decorators - your view please!? I have started up a business as a feminine painter and decorator...
I have started up a business as a feminine painter and decorator covering Manchester and West Yorkshire. When I first had the hypothesis everyone was so supportive and thought it be a novel concept but, despite mortal in Yellow Pages, have a catchy name (Decor Divas) and shoving flyers through doors, nothing's taking place. Everyone I've given cards or flyers to has be really enthusiastic and said they would definitely use a womanly decorator rather than own a man they don't know in their house (sorry guys) but nobody's calling. I'm totally broke so can't afford big exposure ideas but I give up my job to do this ... so I'm merely wondering - am I dilluded or was it a fitting business idea really? If so, do you hold any ways I can promote my business without it costing me loads of dosh?

buy a laminator print out a few things yourself
leave a few cards here and near
