Feeling overwhelmed next to house projects? We just moved into a up to date home 5 months ago....
We just moved into a up to date home 5 months ago. There are so many things to buy ie: curtains, lights, dining room table, rods etc... My problem is I want everything done yesterday. My husband is starting overtime soon and won't own time to do anything for a month or so. (understandable) How can I just relax and relish? There is just so various things to do, it will cost a fortune and takes plentifully of time. Any personal experiences or advice.
Answers: Instead of jump from room to room, I found it worked better for me to complete a room. Take the bathroom for instance, if you enjoy soaking surrounded by the tub, than you will want to complete the bathroom so that you have a haven to retreat to. Remember the candles and a cup of wine.
If you love to cook and you hang out contained by the kitchen, than the kitchen is a good place to start.
If the people spend most of the time in the living room, than start near.
Remember, moving, overtime, and remodeling are all stressful. It is impressive to do your bedroom which most people tend to evacuate for later. You two want a place you can escape from the world to and rejuvenate yourselves as well as your bridal.
Step by step or room by room it will get done. Be sure to whip care of yourselves contained by the process. That is much more important that a pretty living room or a designer kitchen.

your biggest problem would be trying to do all at once. I bought a 100 yr behind the times house 7 yrs ago. it needed renovations in every nouns. nothing have been done surrounded by there for 30 yrs. I established which projects were most momentous to us. I made a 1 yr goal, a 5 yr and a 10 yr dream. Right now after 7 yrs we hold done most of our 10 yr stuff. the nice thing in the region of doing it this way be it was mostly compensated for as we went and the home increased surrounded by value roughly 10 times the cost of the renos. P.S. when larger jobs [dig around the house to do weeping tiles] I would run time off work to take it done faster. one tip, when you start on one project, finish it before you move to the subsequent
