Faux Spray Countertop and Tub? My wife and I are looking at doing a faux spray countertop...

My wife and I are looking at doing a faux spray countertop to make our bathroom countertop and tub look granite. We'd anyone using the same method as this intermingle: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article... Our countertop is one piece so the sink would have to be done also. My interview is whether a clear coat sealer will stand up against the constant use of the sink. Do you think it will know how to protect the the paint job?
Answers:    do not use it on the sink or tub -it will not hold up you necessitate an epoxy coating for that-i've used this paint on a planter its doesn't leave smooth surface any so i would even question using it on a counter top (maybe maritime varnish would work?)
Your best bet is to contact Krylon and get their suggested recommendation.
