I'm getting ready to move within to my first home. I love the inside but the outside is very plain and BRICK. I'm thinking something like adding some exterior porthole shutter (just to change the outside look) and want to know if anyone have ever done this?
I found a site where they are underneath 50 per pair but will the installation be concrete? If so, how much do you think it'll run me to enjoy a professional come in and do the assignment?
I tried the yellow page but all "shutter" companies be for inside only. How do I find a company that even does this?
Answers: Look for a Handyman contained by the phone book. They specialize in small job. I installed new shutters on my brick home and used Tapcon screw. I drilled through the shutter and into the brick and inserted the screws. Took in the order of 4 hours to hang 4 sets (3 sets on 2nd story), by myself.
a home remodeler will do this.
