I have a can wispy fixture currently, and I want to hire an electrician to install a chandelier in its place instead. (I hold a few electricians scheduled to make a contribution me estimates next week, but I'd resembling to have a guideline to be in motion by). How much should I expect is a resonable price to pay? The chandelier have recently be professionally re-wired, and is ready to install. Also, besides checking beside the BBB and confirming they are state lisenced, is there anything else I have need of to consider before hiring an electrician to do this work? Answers: if he cant be out of there surrounded by less than an hour he is lost.....should run u nearly $100.00 to $150.00....he will have to remove the can fixure, install an approved box that will be capable of hold the new immensity, and wire it contained by....will take longer to install the box than to sway light....

I don't use electricians to do this type of work. I save a LOT of money by hiring handymen. I own used electricians, but only for something a handyman WON'T do.
