I noticed after putting some contained by a dormer bathroom that it seemed stove, why is this not used for this purpose?
Could you put wallpaper up using Wheetabix?
Answers:    No. but if the newspaper is metallic, then you would be getting some reflective fry from the existing heat contained by the room.....similar to wrapping a turkey with foil....or, if you ever ordered pizza....some places give foil to the top of their pie to keep the warmth in, cold out....
but, you said vinyl, not foil....
