Does see blue textile look unpromising next to poorly lit brown wood? I just bought a bed that is made of really brown brown...

I just bought a bed that is made of really brown brown wood. My duvet cover is dark blue with gold ingots accents. Do you think this would look okay?

Dark wood and dark blue is a greatly classy combination. Looks like luxury, very gentle but not dull. Ralph Lauren uses that combo.

Good choice. This will look very elegant. Use gold ingots or cream throw pillows in a solid or small pattern. This will bring out the gold ingots in the duvet cover. Use gold or cream bed linens also.

You can take the blue and gold into the rest of the room. If you can get curtains to game the duvet cover, then use gold tie back or sheers. Of course, this would depend on the size of your windows.

Answers:    I think that would look gorgeous together...really classy and elegant. Brown and blue travel very well together.. purely make sure everything else in your room isn't that grey though.
