Does green and red look worthy contained by the kitchen? My kitchen walls are light green and I want to buy all...
My kitchen walls are light green and I want to buy all my items for the kitchen green and red. I love the excess weight chef kitchen decor which are mainly white and red. To mix it a little, I required to also have green items. For example, the clock, floor mat, kitchen towel, canister set, stove burner covers, and other items. Will the two combination look good together??
You couldn't reimburse me to have a red and green kitchen. It's the one colour combination I would avoid like the plague except for Christmas stuff because it's traditional. But if you close to it, go ahead. It's your kitchen.
I think it would look just fine. If you use predominately green for your items similar to the throw rug, cannister set, towels, etc. and the red in small amounts, it should turn out to be a great comination.
Think of kitchens done in a fruit design such as red cherries, strawberries, apples, etc. Green is used beside these motifs, so your little fat chefs should be shown off other with the green decor. They should be perfectly festive and content in your kitchen! (Now, if only they'd do the cooking and cleaning up for you.)
Answers: I have an idea that it'll look great. Green is a food/gardening color and red is definitely a kitchen color (especially retro). To keep it from looking christmasey gross sure you incorporate lighter shades of green and/or different shades of green and keep things bright and springy...I love red...That sounds great...
HA! This is too funny...I was doing research after I answered your ask and found these pics incorporating red and green...(not christmasy at all)
