I was a moment ago wondering if crown molding had any plus in it, because but for I rather receive my life much easier and dance for the new foam crown molding, it will squirrel away me such a hassle..... Anyone know the importance, I know wood is much better but I'm kinda freakin out here beside the cutting and the corners and adjectives that!
Answers: Crown molding will increase the value of your home but not a huge amount. You'll markedly get more than your cost vertebrae though. You'll also come out ahead when it comes to resale since you'll have a better overall depression with potential buyers.
It didn't give the impression of being like you be comfortable with the impression of installing it. If that's the case and you opt to do it yourself, just cause sure to take your time and be paid sure that it looks good when you are done since a poor work will probably hurt the value slightly or at least possible leave a doomed to failure impression.
As for foam vs wood, as long as your are planning on drawing the molding it does not matter. The molding is purely ornate and does not have to stand up to any maltreat so foam is fine.
A real wood molding will incontestably help beside the appearance.As will a fresh coat of paint etc.
However real wood molding is somewhat pricey,if you can fit it contained by your budget,go beside it.Your initial investment will be worth the return when/if you decide to put on the market.
