Does anyone enjoy any pictures or planning for a techno-style bedroom? My 15 year old sister-in-law wishes to change her bedroom design...
My 15 year old sister-in-law wishes to change her bedroom design from a mostly leopard print area to techno. I want to help her but I really don't know what techno design for a room would look approaching. She doesn't have alot of money to completely refurnish the room so items similar to her leopard print area rug, leopard print hurricane lantern shades and picture frames will have to be used. Any philosophy or pictures would be great.
Answers: When I think of a techno style bedroom I cogitate of lots of fun bright cheery colors with nice white sleek set. For a techno styled bedroom; you could do a modern look. Go for clean, straight lines if at all possible. I would go for a white or independent backdrop near pops of color. If some new furniture pieces are within your budget look for white furniture (bed frame, dresser, desk, nightstand)or you can repurpose old furniture and paint it white. For appurtenances look for bright colors like red (for a lamp; can¡¯t afford a clean lamp you can thieve an existing lamp, sand it down and spray paint it contained by an high interpret orange (or anything bright colors she likes), yellow (picture frames, pillows), and green (pillows, vase for flowers, etc.). If she doesn¡¯t like those colors, you can do any color combo that she will similar to. You can find a cheap/good looking area rug (a) Wal-mart surrounded by white, but if you don¡¯t look for white (or another color) bath rugs and connect them together beside carpet cartridge to make a considerable area rug. You can also alter out the lamp shades for a cheap cost or you can cover existing kerosene lamp shades with yard goods to match the foreign room d¨¦cor. For bedding you can do something simple like white near a bright colored throw and pillows or bright colored bedding with white pillows and one bright colored diction pillow.
