I am restoring two vintage Seth Thomas mantle clocks (a split column and an ogee) with reverse painted door panel. I want to touch up the damaged paint on the door panel without it looking approaching a patch job. If I can find indistinguishable type of paint used, I can get the affect I am after. Any suggestions would be helpfull as I can not afford a museum restorationist.
