I did a little bit of reading more or less arborite counter tops as I've never heard of them earlier. From what I understand, they are a type of laminate counter top. When we replaced the counter tops surrounded by our kitchen, we hired a counter top contractor to do the job. He completely removed the antiquated laminate, plywood and all to where on earth the only entity left be the cabinets below and we could see into them. Then he installed latest high category MDFB and glued the spanking new laminate we had chosen lying on it. Then he routed the edges and it looks beautiful.
