Does anyone own any special suggestions concerning installing cup blocks? We want take out 5 generous (7'5"x4') single pane windows and replace...

We want take out 5 generous (7'5"x4') single pane windows and replace them beside glass block. Are in that any special restrictions or requirements regarding building structure? The house is 10" cinder block and 6" brick. Would a special pane frame or support system need to be installed?
