i have get two hanging shelves that own to be mounted on the wall, they are 2ft in length in the region of 1/2ft wide.
i am thinking of placing little ornate and small framed photos.
we have a small living room so i would own to hang them one below the other above our sofa.
you give attention to its ok to hang them over the sofa ? i am afraid that something might plunge off the shelf and on the personage sitting on the sofa. :(
please advice. thank you.
Answers: If you undeniably have no where on earth else for them, then spawn sure they are securely mounted to the wall. Take your hand and hit the wall, sit down on the couch and make sure that they won't dive. Also, you can get pic holders that attach to the bottom of the frames so they don't slide as smoothly, or use double sided tape, or Velcro cartridge. Honestly I would suggest a nice frame/pic/mirror over the couch that is protected and flush with the wall. A mirror will support open up ur living room if its really small. Good Luck
as long as at hand fitted secure they will be fine only make sure you use unprocessed plugs and for peice of mind put blue tac or double sided sticky tape lower than anything that is on shelf
