Do interior designers generate honourable money (as contained by one rich)?
Only the very top ones.
I guess it depends whether they are trained or well known and what nouns you live in. An awesome designer in a poor nouns or one that more people don't utilize one would not make much money but surrounded by bigger cities I bet offices and rich people pay packet them big bucks to decorate for them!! they make suitable money but not rich money i wanna b 1 myself good luck = )
Answers: Wealthy interior designers are few, they most always work for themselves and not another company or firm. However, you do make plenty of money to live past its sell-by date of. I'd say at the upper end of the spectrum you could charge a client $100 an hour (for giant end residential..and if you have a biddable client base and reputation. This number is from an article a few months ago in domino magazine)
If you are doing commercial interior design, you would most predictable be working in a firm, usually (not always) a firm that incorporates architecture, interior design, and planning etc. You will most likely label more at larger firms than small ones.
You will also make more if you get your masters contained by Interior Design.
I live in the Midwest, and my perspective salary after I graduate, working at a firm at entry even I would make between $27,000 and $35,000 approx.
Like architecture, interior designers "wealth" comes with age. You own to work up the client base, work up the reputation for doing good, honest work, and get hold of the experience.
Don't let money discourage you from design. It's a lot of concrete work, and the payoffs are very generous. Do it because you love it, not because it will trademark you rich. :) Good Luck!
