Can someone tell me what is the difference surrounded by Matt and Silk finishes in paint are please?

Answers: first, since you order paint you MUST specify the sheen if not the clerks will automatically give you matte (also set as flat)... flat is dull with no shine and it's sturdy to clean. satin have a bit of a sheen and is slightly easier to clean versus flat. individually i would use matte/flat for crown molding and satin for walls.
Matte is basically a flat finish and Silk is more of a shiny finish.
