More specifically, my question is going on for the depth of color.
We ordered furniture with a stuff that has alot of texture and powernap - meaning in that is alot of variation within color depending on the time of day or the lighting. Sometimes the environment of the fabric looks night light and creamy with golden undertone....other times it looks mid-tone dark near more olive green. It's beautiful, but I'm already realize the drawbacks in trying to select a wall color....at lowest possible, without some professional guidance.
I prefer contrast to monochromatic, so typically I would pick up the darkest color in the stuff (which is a reddish-burgundy), but the room is small - the most formal room in the house, so I'm not sure I want to stir darker here. But when I try lighter, more indistinct colors, the fabric get sort of washed out looking.
Although the room is small, near is a large picture windowpane and outer door, so there is alot of inherent lighting. Would you go bold, or play it locked with a impartial?
Answers: I would go near a definite color fairly than a neutral, since you voice that neutrals seem to hose out the fabric. You want the furniture to stand out - not disappear.
Check out a color by sherwin williams call "breezy" & see if that works for you. It's a muted shade of blue-green, and one of it's coordinating colors is a red.

You could paint one of walls the burgundy color. You could paint the remainder of the walls in a nice cream color. You can grasp paint swatches to help you desire what color you'd like from your local paint store. You can after tie in adjectives your colors with diction pillows and a nice throw. Best wishes o your choice!!!
