Shells, rocks, antique buttons, those wicker ball or marble balls. Get some silk flowers (maybe from the dollar store) and cut off short at the stem and only pile the blooms in the bowl. Do you collect anything special? Mini woven baskets, antique cooking utensils, etc.

Answers:    How about balls of cotton with knitting needles? Art supplies? Photo albums? I enjoy pine cones in one of mine in the home room. Hand held mirror, perfume and lotions? Magazines and your favorite book(s). CD's and cassettes. Poupourri with a pillar candle within the middle works well.
