My seating furniture will be white/slightly off-white, the coffee and call a halt tables are espresso/black and I hold a large print of Van Gogh's "Starry Night". I don't know whether or not I'll tag on an area rug but the living/dining room floor is made of cheap, wooden tile flooring (honey brown coloured - where it isn't scratched). I would really appreciate any decorate ideas that you own. I am overwhelmed with adjectives of the options that are out in attendance. I know what I like to see it when it's put together but I necessitate some assistance to put it together. Thank you in mortgage!
Answers: Sounds like you hold a nice start to your room! I would definitely put surrounded by an area rug. They support to anchor the space plus add color and high temperature to the room! Use your picture as your inspiration for the remainder of the room . The print seems to lean toward a more contemporary look.
A veined carpet within dark blue or blues/black would be a appropriate choice for the area rug. A dark carpet will keep hold of your light furniture from "floating". For your paraphernalia.pull out other colors from the picture. You've get wonderful colors to choose from. Looking at the picture on the internet it looks like the washed out is strong. But you decide if it's the pale or the green that is more predominant. Choose a substantial flat ceramic dish (in one of the picture's diction color) for the center of your coffee table and add something life to it. Add candles and/or vases to your table . Try an ebony candle sconce on the wall to tie it back to your back tables.
You didn't mention lamp but I found this lamp on the home decorator's website. It is leather cancel out by the brushed nickel base beside a cream shade that would blend with your sofas. They enjoy a nice collection of rugs as well. There are several to choose from that I assume would work. The key to suitable design is to repeat your elements around the room. Good luck to you. Hope this helps!
I love that print and would pick up on the blues and aquas surrounded by it. It will give the black and white a sophisticated look. You could paint one wall within any shade of blue you like from the print. The other three walls could be a lighter shade of that same blue or even a sandy off-white . I would buy a big fluffy shag rug for the floor, maybe a wheat shade. WalMart sell them for about $70. Have fun and filch your time...I always rush to finish a room consequently find things I like better after that...don't make that mistake.
