My mom is giving me the freedom to choose the paint color and furniture in my bedroom. Does anyone know any well brought-up websites that give design and have tips on color coordination and stuff?'

Answers:    Your room is an expression of your personal style. You can acquire ideas from hgtv.com, but necessarily you want to do it in your favorite colors/ style. A rule of thumb is to maintain the big pieces (walls, bedspread, curtain) in principle neutral and pop beside some cool accent colors. I in recent times did my 14 yr old son's room. We did a light blue on the walls, cocoa leather curtains, and a cocoa bedspread next to a pale blue inset. The brown and blue go great together & even though the bedspread is silky, it still looks mannish. He has pine furniture that sorta match and doesn't look girly at all.
