Decorating my Bedroom? I recently moved and its my first time having my own room....
I recently moved and its my first time having my own room. Im a juvenile and I really want a bright room. I saw this model room in a magazine and it was lime green beside zebra print curtains and a black bedspread. I thought it was really cute, but Im not sure if it will look accurate in my room becuase of its size. Its not tiny, but not big. I would say it's milieu sized.
Should I do it or look for a different style?

if you want a bright room, I find its better to have most of the walls white and then choose a focus wall to enjoy a bright colour on. then the room won't shrink and will seem reading light and airy and bigger than it actually is. you could always make the addition of bright wallapaper to the focus wall which is what I've done. This way the decoration wont date smoothly and it's easier to match bedcovers, curtains etc
hope I help. since its the first room of your own... make it look its best. the zebra-lime green idea sounds dutiful but i can't really tell for sure cos i i dunno how it looks... you can make your room look cool by nourishing it with your personal ideas... its your room and your zest really counts.so think about it... hope this help!
I say you progress for something that will make you feel polite and feel comfortable no matter what. And pick something that doesn't grow old-fashioned very easily and sort sure it's versatile for you. If you want to redecorate your room some day, pick something very soon that you won't want to repaint in the future but fairly, you can work with it and come up with different concept.
Certain wall colors make people touch a certain way. Look into different "themes" so it's fun and natural to work with, and you'll know what you want with a set subject.
If you're not familiar with Feng Shui, check it out on Google and see what you find that can assistance you with decorating and rearrange your room so you feel happy within it.
When I was a teen, I made my own wall mural...Why don't you pic something you similar to and make a wall out of it?
It sounds really cute, I actually have a friend that considered necessary to do something similar to her room. I don't think the size of the room will matter at adjectives. I say go for it, and conceivably throw in some pink accent pillows!

There are more styles out in attendance. Look around a bit. Do your research. There may be something better out there.
you can other do a theme even if the room is small medium or big I vote go for it! Plus a lot of that stuff is really inexpensive, close to the zebra curtains? I've seen those at Wal-mart for under $10. Good luck!
the black and the zebra print sounds kool, but i think it would look better with the walls near sort of like a turquoise and the pillows with turquoise colors bright colors are well brought-up for a small space - if you do something on the walls maybe just choose one elocution wall and keep the others more simple and low key

JUST USE A SHADE LIGHTER OF GREEN AND YOU SHOULD BE JUST FINE WITH THE SIZE OF YOUR ROOM.GOOD LUCK! Do it! But I suggest solitary painting a few walls green. Where in the world can you find zebra print cutains?
