hi i have lately had some earthenware tiles laid in my bathroom and the grout is cracking surrounded by certain places how can i stop this.
Answers: If you have it done professionally, I wouldn't do anything other than contact the tiler and explain the problem. Grout that cracks that fast after being laid is usually a sign of a desperate job. Grout usually cracks because the tile isn't rank in some places. After pressure (walking on the tile) is applied, the grout begin to crack. I suspect that the tiler will also apply additional grout to the cracks and it may fix the problem. But, if, the tiler has be placed on notice and if further cracks develop, you can expect the professional to get the problem right.
