Answers:    I would avoid marble; it is compressed sand with a polish. It pits and requests extra maintenance to remain superb. The other 4 are durable for long life.

you practically mentioned them adjectives, there adjectives everlasting for a patio, i don't know in the order of brick, if you mean interlocking next yes that too. thing is, budget, partiality,style, patio size, adjectives of which should be considered. saw a cool layout out in ottawa, i reflect on it was slate, looked similar to natural rock, give or take a few 4" thick and iterlocking structure, light brown caramel color. setup approaching an island surrounded by lawn.
