Well I'm not a girl, but grey and green doesn't give the impression of being like that good of an conception, take into consideration the furniture that will be in the room, and possibly try to contest it, also ask the girl what color she would like.
Possible colors: green and yellow, blue and white, blue and pallid, just about anything next to white will match. pink and lime-green, and orange and lime green, pink and pale.

Answers:    What in the region of soft yellow with some terracotta or ginger. A bit of lime green would look great with it too. Go to a large DIY store and achieve papersamples and paint samplers and start putting a mixture on the walls to try out how they look in the light of the room . Good luck
