im remodeling my room.and i am painting it.which colors make a room look big..thanx for your lend a hand!
You want to use a warm color. If I were you I would turn to a K-Mart or whatever other store you have around you and catch samples. Put them on your wall and see how your eyes feel in the order of the color. Also, turn away from the color and turn right back...sometimes your eye will let you know that it's not the right color for you.
Nice colors for a bedroom are burgundy, gloomy red, brown, burn orange- these colors are very intimate (better if you have a sun room).
If you don't get hold of much sun, you might consider something lighter. Keep in mind the color of your furniture and carpet as powerfully.

Decorate using pastel or neutral colors, especially in blue or green hues, to create a more open out, airy feeling. A mirror placed across from a window or unfold landscape image help to add a sense of depth and expansion.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you close to. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I resembling that you can search by color family & color mark, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I deliberate "regale blue" (# 6801) would look terrific.
do you have furniture within this room? if yes what colour is it?

i agree you should use light colors not only will it brand name the room look big but they also absorb the light mine is white youd regard as it look pretty lame but what i like to do is make little drawings on the walls and notify my friends and family to do the same its fun kinda resembling a huge piece of paper and whenever i look at the pictures i remember them There is no specific color once it is light surrounded by color. For example if you like pink, then use a intensely pale pink. If the ceiling is low, then paint it white. Placement and size of furniture will determine if your room looks bigger than it really is. Over-sized furniture tend to get a room look small.

Good luck with the remodel.

Answers:    Lighter rather than darker, categorically. If you want a neutral, try a creamy beige or a melt ivory. Avoid dark green, grey, black, red, and orange. Blue could also be a obedient choice if you keep it light. Be sure to paint simply a patch of wall at first, let it dry, and then see it within all lights (morning, afternoon, evening) before you jump and do the whole room. It will save you a LOT of headache.

Also, if your ceilings are low, you may want to paint them lighter than the rest of the room to open it up a bit.

Another opening to make a room look larger is to strategically place a mirror or two in it. Move them around the room and see what give the impression of space the most. And try to choose smaller scale furniture to give to the illusion. No heavy blind beds, tall armoires, or anything approaching that.
Red , !!

:D
I don't know if these would make the room look big, necessarily, but they do transpire to be my two favorite colors and right now I am deciding which of them to use for my room. If you completion up choosing either of these colors, will you let me know which one? Thanks.
