In my community that have a christmas decorate contest. I want to decorate our house but want simple and well-groomed. Do anyone know of any sites or have any suggestions?
Am I a cheapskate, or newly cost successful?
Answers:    Every time I give attention to of Christmas, I think of a White Christmas. So, I am creating a Winter Wonderland. Actually, I am doing it at my home this afternoon (and I live contained by Houston!). If the link doesn't work, a moment ago search "shooting stars Martha Stewart". These are so polished and easy to manufacture. I couldn't find the star shaped wire things so I am creating mine next to copper wire myself. Other ethnic group recommend bamboo stakes. I also glue silver snowflake tree ornaments to bamboo stakes that I painted black and put one white lantern behind respectively of them. This creates the effect of falling snow in my courtyard. I am then putting white lights on the grass to create a snow covered prairie.
With all the white snowflakes and shooting stars, it is thoroughly elegant.

Simple and attractive to me always engineer me think of white lights, and silver decorations. You can even join a hint of blue, and it make the perfect winter combination! :)
