Choosing paint for restful master suite? We are currently in the process of buying a different (our first)...
We are currently in the process of buying a different (our first) home. As we are in a rental in a minute & have other been within apartments prior to this rental house, I really want to make this strange home our own.
In the master bedroom, I plan on using grasscloth as an accent wall on the wall astern the bed but I am stumped on paint color for the remaining walls.(I hate white walls...Ive be surrounded by them for way too long now) Our style is a comfortable modern & we want every room to copy a calming diplomatic spa-like atmosphere. I know that chocolate(furniture) tan, greens, & whites will be the accent but I am stuck on whether to use a pale green or a restrained bluish gray tint on the walls.

I would choose a blue similar to this

Answers: I think grasscloth near the blue would be beautiful, & the espresso furniture against it would really put together the room pop. The bedding has so several variations of desk light & dark green already that if you dont pick the right shade of green, it could become outstandingly clashy. The grasscloth is so light & the light green is as well so theres really no contrast. The point of the articulation wall is a wow factor...& I think that beside the blue, it would just be really zen close to which it sounds like is the impression you are going for. Good luck & congrats on the house.
I prefer pale green for a bedroom. It is relaxing and have that whole personality feel.
