I want one of my walls painted in chalkboard paint, but the texture of my wall makes it an unideal surface for the paint. So I be wondering if the paint would stick to thick cardboard, that way I can purely nail the smooth, painted board to my wall. So, chalkboard paint on cardboard -- yes/no?
Answers:    Regular corregated cardboard won't work because when you press the chalk to it the corregation that is within between the layers of cardboard compress affecting the paint's ability to fit tightly. What will work is matte board or non-compressing heavy duty foam board that you can get at the craft store. Either will hand over you the smooth finish, enabling you to write with the chalk short the problems with corregated cardboard.
as long as it's hard adequate that you wont be pushing into the cardboard. my suggestion would be to use wall paneling or thin plywood and put it on there instead <a href="http://www.fallensword.com/?ref=17... src="http://66.7.192.165/banners/full_ba... title="Play Fallen Sword RPG for free presently!"></a>
