Answers: Not a good concept since cork is not a solid surface it would crack. It should be installed on cement board.
Ceramic needs to move about over a hard surface or it will crack contained by a very short time. I know someone who put stoneware over vinyl.
Boy, was he sorry! Better to remove the behind the times floor first, plus you might not have ample clearance to open the door!
