Carpet or Wood Laminate? The carpet in my "new" bedroom is unbelievably old and gross...its dirty...
The carpet in my "new" bedroom is unbelievably old and gross...its dirty and a sea green color from the 80s...yuck. My parents are gonna minister to me re-do my room, but i cant decide on getting a new mat or wood laminate flooring. I would also like to know if there are any pros/cons on any type of flooring. Btw im 13 yr old girl
i would go with the wood, it is impressively easy to clean, it could brand the floor cold though i would get a rug under your bed. travel with the wood it's cleaner and you wont have so much dust any .
Go beside laminate or hardwood...use a nice area rug and that way if you prefer in a year or two you want to change the look, a moment ago change the rug! It's a great way to re-accessorize short having to redo your runner every time! If you go laminate, make sure to find something that is very tough and won't dent too glibly. I have bamboo and it dents pretty bleak, so be mindful of that. Also, hardwood is always best so if you (or your parents) can afford it, I'd just shift that way! Good luck! wood laminate will add meaning to the house, it also cuts down on allergies and odors retained by a carpets "soft surface". Wood laminate is easier to keep verbs requires just dust mopping or vacuuming and mopping where as carpeting will call for steam cleaning routinely and may hold on to stains. Hope this helped.
Answers: Absolutely laminate! So much cleaner. Then, get a nice nouns rug, and you'll have a beautiful room.
It depends on what you resembling. A wood laminate floor will bring an air of sophistication to your room and add significance to the home. It can however be a bit cool to walk on, so in the winter time fashion sure you have a pair of slippers practical by :) Carpets are nice as well and will add a cozy sensation. There are so many colors and patterns to choose from. They also create a nice nouns barrier. Your parent's won't know when you're sneaking around :) In the end it adjectives boils down to taste. flip through some magazines and find rooms you resembling and see what they have. Personally, I have wood floors throughout my house but the bedrooms hold carpeting. Good luck with your choices! I do flooring for a living... If you go beside laminate you need to get one of suitable quality. The cheaper brands wear out fast. Either channel laminate will be more expensive than carpet.Although you shouldn't go next to real cheap carpet any because of the same wearing out problem. Pro/Con not mentioned.laminate will be cold on the foot in the morning , and carpet will be space heater
I would have to agree beside getting the laminate. With a premium laminate, you won't even be able to tell that it's not actual wood, and you'll still have the easy conservation of laminate.
If you decide to put an area rug resting on it, make sure you get a nice rug wipe to go in between. If you don't, the rug could stain the laminate over time.
