Canopy bed? Hi! ok... um.. well I want a sunshade bed but the problem...

Hi! ok... um.. well I want a sunshade bed but the problem is I livein a 1 story house and my celing is 8ft. the canopy bed I want is black and is 7.5 foot long or 7 ft. can't remember... anyway.... would that look strange? I mean.. my room is small but not small small lol this is complex to explain... sigh... I have a stride in closet if that help to vision my room.... gratefulness.... I think it might work but afterwards again it might not.. I don't want my room to look crowed... thanks again...

Answers:    Rather than invest the money within a bed that may not fit the room why not make your own sun shelter. This can be attached to the ceiling and white netting can be draped on the headboard and small sides of the bed. You can also achieve a blind effect by using a curtain rod attached to the wall above the bed and supported on the ceiling. This would be much less expensive than buying a fresh bed.
