Can you please recommend a (preferably free) software for making a rough plan to remodel my house? I want to first make a 3D model of my existing house...
I want to first make a 3D model of my existing house and after find the best possible way of upgradation.
P.S. - I don't exactness about features approaching the ability to plan the plumbing and electrical services. I merely want to plan the structural part of the building.

this is a great 3D program, and it's free (not the pro magazine, but the free version is adjectives i needed to design my current add-on). download it, and mess around with it. it's highly user friendly.
I have used "3D Home Architect". It's not superlative but it's only almost $30. I have an elder version from almost 4 years ago.
