Can you facilitate me be paid my small and shadowy room appear bigger and lighter? I am going to be moving into a new apartment, and...

I am going to be moving into a new apartment, and the room that I will enjoy is going to be small. There are two small windows, up highly developed than normal. Not like mad of natural night light in the room. Hoping to neutralize depression, I want to make my room muted and vibrant. I can't paint the walls (of course), but can you offer suggestions on how else to liven up this dungeon? Thanks so much for your suggestions!
Answers:    Since you lone have 2 window and they are up high, try floppy mirrors opposite the window to reflect restrained and make the room brighter. It also will create the vision that there are four window in the room instead of 2.

Also, don't assume that you can't paint because you're renting. Find out from the apartment control if you can paint. Many of them will allow you to as long as you paint the walls back to the unproved color before you move out.

Another tip to maximize your space is to buy furniture explicitly proportionate to the size of your room. Don't try to squeeze a queen size bed, 2 nightstands, a dresser and a chest in the room. If you are single, try using a full size bed, use a small side table instead of a nightstand, and use any a dresser or a chest, but not both. And try hanging as various items as you can on the wall to save floor space (for example, a TV, or hang up a small wall shelf as your bedside table instead of using a table that sits on the floor.)

Hope this was of use, and happy decorate!

I will assume the walls are white, which is a good entry. Now what you want are bright and airy colors in the form of windowpane treatments, throw pillows, candles, flowers and vases. Table runners can append a nice punch of color too. I would go within the light (not baby) blue and teal colors and after add "splashes of lime".
