ok so i am getting a new daybed and we talked to the street trader and it includes a mattress that isnt new but the guy sprayed and sanitized the spring. does that make the mattress comfortable or is the mattress going to not be aware of new? please help asap. we are order tommorow morning
I would get a brand new mattress!
Personally, I'd just get a current mattress. if you could test out the mattress, you never know, but if you cant, i just speak go the easy agency and get a new mattress. you cant other trust used items. One thing you should NEVER buy used - a mattress.
Answers: Invest in a new mattress. And don't move about cheap. My parents bought a top-quality mattress before I was born and I still love to travel nap and read books on it. $1000 investment has last them over 30 years. My boyfriend bought a cheap mattress and it has barely last him a few years.
The spray should not make it feel any different- I don`t know a bit starchy. I'm not beneath used things, but a mattress is one thing I will not buy used.
Things to consider on a used mattress:
- biologicals (semen, secretions, urine, etc.)
- sickness (many elderly family die in bed)
- allergens (deep within the mattress and doesn't come out)
- wear and slash (broken springs, "sink holes," etc.)
